March 2021, Boston, MA – OnePIN, Inc. hosted the Cross-Enterprise Mobile Advertising Roundtable event. The pre-conference workshop session was led by Anthony Broadhurst, Director of Advertising & Media, OnePIN, Inc., David Moore, Director, Solutions Management, OnePIN, Inc., and Bassem Rustom, VP Business Development, OnePIN, Inc. In attendance were leading Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) from around the world. The event focused on outlining key strategies to help MNO’s implement a revenue generating advertising-as-a-service model whilst creating an optimized user experience.
The session began by discussing the key mobile advertising trends of 2021, in particular the continuing allocation of digital ad spend to mobile and how brands and marketers look to mobile to complete user journeys and to scale contextual targeting strategies. All of the trends discussed lend themselves to a rebirth of SMS, where brands have started to return to SMS as a key mobile marketing channel.
The session leaders discussed a number of OnePIN use cases that highlight the company’s role in creating an effective advertising-as-a-service model. These use cases included real time survey engagements, in-store point of sale product redemption, real time app download suggestions and the delivery of targeted news content.
OnePIN’s goal from this roundtable event was to outline opportunities for how MNO’s can maximize key mobile communication channels such as the OnePIN Digital Assistant and SMS messaging to provide a better experience for brands and consumers as well as drive revenue.
