Orange to bring innovative Social Address Book solution to market
Boston, MA. December 08, 2011— OnePIN, Inc., the world’s leading provider of mobile social address book solutions, today announced that Orange has signed a contract to deploy the CallerXchange service to its subscribers in Cameroon.
Orange is the first operator in Cameroon to offer OnePIN’s CallerXchange service. Cameroon has over 20 million mobile subscribers and is poised for strong growth given the current 40% mobile penetration rate. Orange is the second largest mobile operator in the country, maintaining a strong market share of 43% of the country’s mobile subscribers.
The CallerXchange service enables subscribers to share their contact information with friends, family, and colleagues with one-click after phone calls. The service ensures that contact information in subscribers’ phonebooks is kept up to date, allowing users to keep in touch with people in their social networks even if their information changes over time. CallerXchange transforms a static phone book into an enriched, dynamic social address book.
“We are excited about the launch of CallerXchange in Orange Cameroon. This project epitomizes Orange Group’s commitment to innovation in Africa and we are looking forward to repeating the successes that CallerXchange has generated for Orange in other regions around the world.” stated David Moore, Director of Solution Sales at OnePIN, Inc.
