Boston, MA. November 18, 2015 — OnePIN, Inc., the world’s leading provider of social call connectivity and social address book solutions, today announced the success of its CallerXchange service in the South African market.
CallerXchange, the company’s mobile business card exchange service, is quickly being adopted by South Africans as one of the country’s most used mobile services. With a user base of five million mobile subscribers, and growing at nearly one million per month, the service performance is exceeding market expectations.
CallerXchange is achieving a conversion rate of 96%, meaning nearly all subscribers who opt in to the service has already paid to exchange their business cards with other mobile subscribers. This performance demonstrates the market need for an after-call mobile contact exchange service that is interoperable across all handset platforms.
In addition, the service is generating a repeat usage rate of 80%. This rate demonstrates the ongoing need for users to incorporate the service in their daily lives, sharing their contact information with new friends and associates as they extent their mobile social networks over time.
“Market performance of CallerXchange in South Africa has surpassed our expectations, especially considering that recent studies have shown that nearly 40% of mobile users in the country do not spend any money on mobile applications” remarked Christopher DeGrace, Vice President at OnePIN. ”As subscriber adoption of Apple iPhones, Android and other smart phones increases in the market, we are seeing increased usage of CallerXchange as the service helps take advantage of a more advanced contact lists as well as expand Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social networking application usage with each contact exchange.”
